Pittsburgh Wedding Community was founded in 2012 by Jodi Colella - a newlywed and wedding vendor. Originally, the Facebook group was created to connect individuals for the buying and selling of used wedding decor.

However, it quickly emerged into a welcoming social community for newlyweds and engaged individuals to support each other in all aspects of their wedding planning, as well as ask for vendor recommendations.

In 2018, the group was rebranded as Pittsburgh Wedding Community and became solely for planning support and connection. Wedding decor resale now has its own dedicated group.

Pittsburgh Wedding Community is a great source for couples to get community support for their weddings, as well as find and have direct connections with potential wedding businesses. It is the largest Facebook wedding group in the tri-state area.

Jodi and her moderators carefully monitor the group, protect members from misinformation and unethical/questionable vendors, and provide our expertise in many aspects of the wedding industry.
