Pittsburgh Wedding Community was founded in 2012 by Jodi Colella - a newlywed and wedding vendor. Originally, the Facebook group was created to connect individuals for the buying and selling of used wedding decor.

However, it quickly emerged into a welcoming social community for newlyweds and engaged individuals to support each other in all aspects of their wedding planning.

In 2018, the group was rebranded as Pittsburgh Wedding Community and became solely for planning discussions. Wedding decor resale now has its own dedicated group.

Pittsburgh Wedding Community is the number one source for couples to get community support for their weddings, as well as find and have direct connection with potential wedding businesses. It is the largest, most popular, and most influential social media wedding network in Western Pennsylvania.
